OUR PASTORS
In 2014, Joel & Emma Burden moved to Malaysia from Sheffield, UK to start Hope City Church Kuala Lumpur. Their home church sent them with a team of four people to help them pioneer. Over the last six years, they have witnessed God beginning to build a growing, dynamic church with people growing in relationship with Jesus. The story is still being written and we’d love you to be a part of it!
Joel and Emma have two young sons, Henry and George, who were born in Bangsar. They love playing Monopoly Deal, watching house building shows and Joel’s the main chef in their house. One of them plays the cello but you’ll have to come and meet them to find out who…
